Welcome to Higley Schools!
Kindergarten sets the foundation for all learning in Higley Unified School District.
All of our elementary schools offer FREE all-day kindergarten. In Kindergarten, students learn:
Social Skills and how to play and interact with other children in a calm, sharing, rewarding mannerRespect for others, self-awareness and understanding of others' feelings
Literacy and language skills including reading and phonics
Numeracy and math skills including foundational concepts like operations, shapes and measurement
Love of Learning and exposure to new ideas and concepts
Accelerated gifted and talented models are offered at each campus with support from gifted-endorsed certified professional educators.
Daily schedules include: workshop centers, reading/ELA, Math, Reading Groups, Social Studies, Science and Thematic Units as well as Music, Physical Education, Library, Technology and Art.

- AM snack and recess

- Quiet time/water and bathroom break
